Here are some of the pictures we took while visiting

Balboa park in San Diego.

The first place we visited was the San Diego Model

Railroad Museum

The museum is housed in the basement of one of the buildings and must be the largest model railroad sites. It actually houses five layouts. N gauge, two HO gauge, O gauge and "Lionel" three rail O gauge. These large layouts are built and run by members of four clubs.
Here are three pictures of the O gauge layout.
The next six pictures are from the San Diego Model Railroad's HO gauge layout. Details of one of the buildings A view down one of the ends of the layout. Sue watching.
A model junk yard. A canyon curve A view down the long side of the layout after the canyon.
